Codes

The computational astrophysics group depends on strong hydrodynamical codes to perform high-resolution and long-term numerical simulations. One important task is to continue to revise and extend existing hydrodynamical codes. This includes implementing new numerical methods and physics modules to allow faster and more detailed simulations. Implementing and exploring new simulation methods like GPU-based codes is another part of our work. Finally, analysis and visualization, especially for large data sets, are essential and require efficient codes. Here you find a selection of publicly available libraries developed in our group.
