Installing the VNC client software

Here are the links to download the software for Windows, Mac, and Linux clients (your computer)
(if the links below are not working, try here instead):

Windows (64 bit; other versions also available for 32 bit from the TigerVNC project page https://tigervnc.org/):

Mac:

Linux:

Install the package “tigervnc” using the package manager of your Linux distribution. After installation, invoke “vncviewer”.

If for some reason your Linux distribution does not package tigervnc, try installing one of the packages from the TigerVNC project page or download the source and compile it yourself.

Please try this at home by yourself, well in advance of the first lab day!!!
