Hi

I am a postdoc at the University Observatory Munich, studying giant elliptical cD galaxies which are found in the centers of massive galaxy clusters. My research interest lies in both, photometric and kinematic analysis of their stellar components.
  I'm also an auxiliary observer at the USM's Wendelstein Observatory and am improving the datareduction pipeline for the Wendelstein-Wide-Field-Imager (WWFI) data, which is a main source for my photometry.
  Despite that, why not convert an occupation into a hobby: Astrophotography.
